Regina minibus hire for game days, tours and the Qu'Appelle Valley

Regina is easy to get around, and its big days out are close: a Rider game, the legislature, the RCMP Heritage Centre, and the Qu'Appelle Valley an hour away. A minibus with a driver gets your group to each of them together.

Rider game days

Roughriders fans fill Mosaic Stadium on game days, and big concerts play there too. If your group is travelling in for a game, one vehicle from the hotel to the gate and back means nobody hunts for parking or waits for a ride afterwards. Agree a meeting spot for after the final whistle, because the whole crowd leaves at once.

Touring the Legislative Building

The Saskatchewan Legislative Building offers free tours, given in either English or French, and a party of ten or more needs to reserve. For parking, the bus follows Legislative Drive east and turns left onto Walter Scott Way, stopping by the lake on the north side of the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens.

The Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the MacKenzie Art Gallery are also in Wascana Centre, so you can make a full, easy day of it without long drives between stops. Government House, a historic vice-regal home you can visit as a museum, fits neatly into a morning.

The RCMP Heritage Centre

You'll find it on Dewdney Avenue next to the RCMP Academy, and coaches can park on site. Book ahead with ten or more people and you can be let in before the doors open to everyone else, a quieter start to the visit.

Tunnels, valleys and homesteads

The Tunnels of Moose Jaw are about 45 minutes west. Fort Qu'Appelle and the valley are about an hour, and Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site about an hour and a quarter. Saskatoon is roughly two and a half hours north.

Opened in 2019, the 44 km Regina Bypass swings round the city's southern and eastern edges between Highway 1 and Highway 11, so longer trips can skip the city streets.

Your questions

Where will we be collected at Regina airport?

Step out of arrivals and cross the road: commercial vehicles collect passengers in their own lane inside the short-term parking lot. From there, City Hall is about 10 km, roughly 15 minutes.

Does Saskatchewan change its clocks?

No. The province stays on Central Standard Time all year, so check times if you're connecting to or from another province.

How small can a group be for the legislature tour?

Anyone can tour, but a group of ten or more has to reserve a slot. Send us the tour time and we'll plan the pickup around it.
