Coach Hire Canada

Minibuses and Sprinters with a Driver, Across Canada

Travelling with somewhere between eight and two dozen people? You want one vehicle, one driver who knows the road, and nobody in your party stuck reading a map. Tell us where the day goes and we will line up a licensed, insured operator to take you there.

Who does what when you book

We are a booking service. The minibus, Sprinter or coach, and the person driving it, come from one of our licensed, insured partner operators. Our job is to pair your plans with an operator who has a suitable vehicle available that day, then look after the booking from your first message until you are home again.

Each trip gets a single written quote. You won't find a rate card here: what a trip costs depends on your date, how long you need the driver, how far you go and which vehicle suits you. The operator's cancellation terms are printed on that quote, and you pay nothing unless you accept it.

Why a smaller vehicle often suits the day

A minibus usually seats 16 to 19, and a Sprinter-style van 17 to 19. For a family, a book club or a wedding party, that means no rows of empty seats and a driver who can pull in where a 45 ft coach would struggle, such as a winery lane or a small-town main street.

Keep an eye on luggage, though. With every seat taken, a minibus has only a modest space at the back, so tell us about suitcases, strollers, hockey bags or skis before anyone prices the trip.

Day trips people ask about most

From Toronto, Niagara Falls is about 130 km away, roughly an hour and a half on the road, and Niagara-on-the-Lake is about the same. In Niagara-on-the-Lake, buses park at the motor coach facility near Fort George, so plan a short walk into the old town.

Calgary groups head west: Banff is about 1.5 hours away and Lake Louise about two. At the Lake Louise lakeshore a commercial vehicle may stop for 10 minutes to let you off, then has to leave until pickup time if the lot is full. From Montreal, Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentians is about 1.5 hours, and from Vancouver the Sea-to-Sky Highway reaches Whistler in about two, with winter tires or chains required from 1 October to 31 March.

Weddings, reunions and teams on tour

A wedding shuttle keeps guests together between the ceremony, the photos and the reception, and gets them back to the hotel safely at the end of the night. A family reunion often starts with relatives landing on different flights. A visiting team needs room for kit and a set-down close to the rink or field. Say which it is and the plan is built around it.

Hiring a coach and driver when the group grows

Bigger parties step up to a midi coach, which seats roughly 29 to 35, or a full-size coach with 49 to 81 seats. At the other end, an executive car takes one to three guests. If anyone travels in a wheelchair, tell us early: accessible vehicles are arranged booking by booking, not assumed.

Your questions

Are you the company that drives us?

No. The vehicle comes from a licensed, insured partner operator, and the driver works for that operator. We set everything up and remain the people you talk to about it.

When would I pay?

Only once you have accepted the written quote for your trip. Asking for one costs nothing.

What happens if we cancel?

The operator's cancellation terms appear on your quote, so you can read them before you commit.

Is minibus hire always with a driver?

Always. Every minibus, Sprinter and coach we book arrives with its driver from the partner operator, so nobody in your party needs a bus licence.
